Çelik’s current project deals with different forms of educational inequalities within context of migration.
Çetin Çelik is a researcher working in the field of sociology of migration and education. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Bremen in 2012. He is recipient of Marie Curie Career Integration Grant, Koç University Seed Grant, as well as a two-year TUBITAK-BIDEB Grant. He is also part of the Social Policy Centre group at Koç University (SPM-KU), which runs an FP7th project on youth unemployment. From findings of his research, Çelik has published and under review articles in journals such as Ethnic and Racial Studies, Patterns of Prejudice and British Journal of Sociology of Education.
