Jonas Paul is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Jonas Paul works for the European External Action Service (EEAS). He is currently Political Officer at the European Union Delegation to Albania, with a particular focus on foreign and security policy. He previously worked in Brussels in the office of the EEAS’s Deputy Secretary General for Political Affairs and as EEAS Desk Officer for the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Prior to joining the EEAS, Jonas worked as Head of Office and Foreign Policy Advisor at the European Parliament. Earlier, he was involved in the creation of a not-for-profit youth magazine in Munich and was Head of its Political Department. Jonas studied International Relations and International Economics at the College of Europe in Bruges and the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, DC.
