Project description

Cana Tülüş is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Cana Tülüş Türk is working as Research and Administrative Affairs Coordinator at the Istanbul based research center, Istanbul Policy Center at Sabancı University (IPC), since January 2012. She is currently attending a Ph.D.-Program in Political Science at Istanbul Bilgi University. She is a writer of Beğenmeyen Okumasin literature blog and mentor at BUMED. She is a Member of the Executive Board of Turkey Europe Foundation; Turkey Europe Future Forum 2015 Fellow; Member of the Global Diplomacy Lab; and Member of the United Europe. Before joining the IPC she worked at Tohum Autism Foundation for 18 months as Projects Assistant and Deputy Projects Specialist. She received her M.A. in European Studies from Sabancı University with full scholarship upon completing her project on “Turkey and the European Union; Historical Evolution of the relations and the current situation.” Cana holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University. During her BA studies she worked on a project focusing on the processes of ‘othering’ and discrimination in Turkey. She conducted internships at Cumhuriyet Newspaper, NTV and the Turkish National Assembly for short periods.
