Katharina Petrisson is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Katharina Petrisson is currently working as head of the press department at the German Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. Until August 2015 she was responsible for interreligious dialogue and bilateral culture and media relations between Germany and the countries of the MENA-region at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. She holds a M.A. in Intercultural Language and Business Studies from Passau University, speaks about eight languages and has lived in Spain, Mexico, Canada, Egypt, and the US. A mother-of-two, diplomat and yoga teacher, she has traveled with enthusiasm and curiosity for other cultures and met many inspiring people from all over the globe.
