Auveen Woods is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Auveen Woods is a research associate at the Istanbul Policy Center (IPC), which is based at Sabancı University. Her work focuses on conflict resolution and peacebuilding from the international to the local levels. She has been engaged with a number of international and local civil society organizations working to develop peacebuilding projects among displaced and refugee communities in Somalia, Turkey and Syria. As a researcher and practitioner, Ms Woods has run workshops and facilitation sessions with both Turkish and Syrian activists and NGOs. She received her MA in conflict analysis and resolution with a full scholarship from Sabancı University and holds a BA in international relations from Dublin City University.
