Her project examines how media are used in Turkish and German schools and how this affects relations between the two countries. The aim is to offer recommendations for the better use of technologies in schools with a view to building intercultural networks.
Çiğdem Bozdağ is a researcher in the field of communications and media studies. She is an assistant professor at Kadir Has University. Bozdağ completed her PhD at the University of Bremen in January 2013. From 2008 to 2010, she worked there as a research assistant at the German Research Foundation. She also worked on an EU-funded research project entitled “ICT and Cultural Diversity". Bozdağ received an M.A. in media culture from the University of Bremen, and a B.A. in political science and international relations from Boğaziçi University.
