Project description

His project is focused on developing scenarios for analysing the future of EU-Turkey energy relations and identifying certain policy options for both parties.

Short biography

Jörn Richert is an assistant professor at the University of St. Gallen. His areas of expertise include international energy politics, foresight methods, and systemic theories of international relations. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as an analyst with the Future Analysis Branch of the Bundeswehr Planning Office. He also served as an associate at the Stiftung Neue Verantwortung (SNV) in Berlin. He studied political science, economics and psychology in Kiel and Madrid and obtained a doctoral degree in sociology/international relations from Bielefeld University in 2014.
