Andreia Tolciu is part of a network of young German and Chinese leaders from all sectors who come together to engage in intensive dialogue and to undergo further professional and intercultural training. The Zukunftsbrücke – Chinese-German Young Professional Campus takes place in alternate years in China and Germany.
Andreia Tolciu is heading the Business Strategy Department of the HPA-Hamburg Port Authority with expertise in the management of project-based international cooperation and port business development. Before her appointment for the HPA as an assistant to the deputy manager with a particular focus on port finance and real estate, Mrs. Tolciu worked as a consultant for the HPC-Hamburg Port Consulting in large international port and logistics projects. Prior to the business sector, she also worked in the academic environment as a Senior Economist at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics, (HWWI) on topics related to labor economics, migration, social interaction and quantitative data analysis. Andreia Tolciu studied International Relations and Economics in Bucharest (University of Economic Studies, Romania) and Berlin (Humboldt University, Germany). She also holds Master degree in European Studies from the College of Europe Hamburg and a PhD in macroeconomics from the Hamburg University (Germany).
