Dr Hua Ying is part of a network of young German and Chinese leaders from all sectors who come together to engage in intensive dialogue and to undergo further professional and intercultural training. The Zukunftsbrücke – Chinese-German Young Professional Campus takes place in alternate years in China and Germany.
Hua Ying is an assistant research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and assistant to the President of the China Association of Social Security. She specializes in social security policy in general, specifically focusing on comparative social insurance system, health insurance and long-term care. From 2015-2016 she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Dr Hua received her doctorate degree in 2014 from Renmin University of China. She was a doctoral exchange student at the London School of Economics in 2013 and at the Max Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy in 2012.
