Project description

Florian Höfling is part of a network of young German and Chinese leaders from all sectors who come together to engage in intensive dialogue and to undergo further professional and intercultural training. The Zukunftsbrücke – Chinese-German Young Professional Campus takes place in alternate years in China and Germany.

Short biography

Florian Höfling is Marketing Director of the Automotive Aftermarket Division of Bosch - located in Taipei since June 2013. He is responsible for the Product Marketing of the Business Unit Rotating Machines in Asia Pacific including Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, ASEAN, India, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this assignment, he spent 6 years with Bosch in Shanghai holding various management positions in Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Business Development. Florian is a guest lecturer at different universities (Fu Jen University in Taipei, ESCP at Tongji University in Shanghai, University of Louisville in Taipei) focusing on intercultural management, marketing/automotive business models and leadership topics. Prior to his posting to Asia, Florian worked in Germany, France, UK and Brazil. He holds a BSc in International Business & Modern Languages from Aston University, Birmingham, UK, and a triple master degree in International Management from ESCP Europe, Paris & Berlin, (Masters of Science, Diplom-Kaufmann and Diplome de Grande Ecole). He is passionate about sports, travelling and spending time with his family.
