Project description

Marcus Hedahl’s research as a Dahrendorf postdoctoral fellow in the working group ‘Social and Legal Aspects of Climate Change’ focuses on the relational and collective aspects of ethics, particularly with respect to considerations of human rights and global justice in the context of climate change.

Short biography

Marcus Hedahl was a postdoctoral fellow at the Grantham Research Institute at LSE and a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Foundation and the Kennedy Institute of Ethics. His research focused on the relational and collective aspects of ethics. He subsequently became assistant professor of philosophy at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, USA. Marcus holds a PhD in philosophy from Georgetown University. He is a former research associate at NASA-Langley and a former major in the US Air Force.
