Project title

Cyber Governance – Diverging modes of regulating cyberspace

Short biography

During her fellowship year, Hanna Zinner explores diverging modes of Cyber Governance in Europe and China. Among other questions, she will focus on other states’ reactions to Chinese regulatory initiatives. Hanna holds a dual master’s degree in International Political Economy and International Public Management from the London School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris. Her China focus emerged during her studies of International Relations in Dresden and her year abroad in Beijing. She gained professional experience at the China unit at the German Economics Ministry, the German Embassy in Beijing, a Sino-German cooperation project at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and in political consulting at Roland Berger.
