Anna Marohn is part of a network of young German and Chinese leaders from all sectors who come together to engage in intensive dialogue and to undergo further professional and intercultural training. The Zukunftsbrücke – Chinese-German Young Professional Campus takes place in alternate years in China and Germany.
Anna Marohn is part of the NDR editorial department. She is also the former personal advisor of Lutz Marmor, CEO of the public broadcasting station NDR. Anna is in charge of writing speeches, preparing background information and serves as a link to all programme related matters. Born in 1981, Anna studied economics and journalism in Cologne before freelancing for one year in Xi'an and Beijing, China, where she covered all kinds of topics including the stock exchange, demographic problems or the phenomenon of Chinese pop literature. In 2007 she returned to Germany, Hamburg, and started working as an editor in the economics department at the weekly "Die Zeit" with a focus on media related topics and portraits. In 2012 Anna changed positions and has since been working in the NDR management with some time in the newsroom where she gained extensive experience in newsproduction.
