Gabriela Blatter from Zurich studied Chemistry at the ETH Zurich and the Ecole normale supérieure in Paris. After her studies she worked for an NGO in India and was scientific project manager in the office for International Institutional Affairs at ETH Zurich. In this position she realized projects in the field of urbanization, sustainability and scientific diplomacy in India and Ethiopia. During her Mercator Fellowship, she will work on the adaption and mitigation of climate change in urban zones through participative involvement of civil society.
