His project is concerned with analysing existing climate change studies and data and compiling a comprehensive study of the impact of climate change in Turkey.
Ömer Lütfi Şen is a climate scientist. In 2004, he joined the Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences at Istanbul Technical University, where he has since been teaching graduate-level courses and conducting research on anthropogenic climate change in the eastern Mediterranean – Black Sea region. He has reviewed all studies on the impact of climate change in Turkey. Ömer Lütfi Şen holds a PhD degree from the Hydrology & Water Resources Department of the University of Arizona.
