MCB – Keeping our finger on the political pulse

For us to be able to keep our finger on the political pulse in all our activities and identify trends and developments in our thematic clusters, it is very important for us also to have a base in Berlin and to meet and exchange views and opinions with the relevant actors on a regular basis.

This is why we opened our Mercator Centre Berlin (MCB) at Hackescher Markt in June 2011. The MCB not only serves as a forum for dialogue, however, but also as a creative hub where around 100 employees from ten different organizations can work together. Regular discussions and further training courses are on offer, allowing common issues to be debated and ideas to be developed. At the same time, the foundation supports a number of projects in the German capital. MORE
