Yıldırım Gündüç has been working as Government Affairs Manager at Koç Holding since May 2024, where he closely follows regulatory developments, supports the interpretation of policy signals for institutional positioning and maintains constructive engagement with public authorities and international platforms.
Prior to his current role, Yıldırım Gündüç served as an EU Affairs Expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Directorate for EU Affairs for over a decade, focusing on fostering sustainable dialogue between Türkiye and the EU through various programmes and projects. During this period, he supported engagement between civil society organizations and local authorities across Europe and Türkiye through EU-funded initiatives.
He also served as a National Expert in Professional Training (NEPT) at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy.
Yıldırım Gündüç holds an MA in Eurasian Studies from Middle East Technical University and a BA in International Relations from Hacettepe University in Ankara.
