Veronika Datzer

As a Mercator Fellow, Veronika Datzer investigates non-military responses to cyber threats. Her goal is to identify effective approaches towards a safer cyberspace and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of states, international organisations and companies in their fight against cyber threats. She has previously worked at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, the UN, in research, consultancy and the NGO sector. Veronika holds an M.A. in International Relations from Humboldt-University, Free University Berlin and Potsdam University and a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Freiburg.
