Project description

Tuğçe Caner is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Tuğçe Caner works in the field of youth where she aims to foster inclusive exchange and volunteering as a vehicle for a strong civil society. At Youth For Understanding Turkey, she is in charge of scholarship exchange programs for Turkish and German youth as well as for exchanges between teachers and youth workers. Previously, Tuğçe acted as the General Coordinator of the Turkish national youth council initiative GoFor, as a General Rapporteur and Minority Rights Advocate for the Youth of European Nationalities. She has experience as an organiser and translator in the fields of sports, business and politics. Tuğçe holds an MSc in Media & Cultural Studies from Middle East Technical University during which she focused on political science while studying in Germany. Moreover, she completed her B.A. in Translation and Interpretation and International Relations.
