Tuğçe Caner is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Tuğçe Caner works at the intersection of international cooperation, intercultural exchange and capacity development. After serving as an advisor at GIZ for 4,5 years, she is currently working as a freelance consultant in Germany while serving as the vice chairperson of Youth for Understanding Türkiye. She contributes to programs supporting community-based initiatives, inclusive grantmaking, and learning across sectors. Her experience includes working with civil society organizations, local governments and youth networks to design projects, learning formats, facilitate multi-stakeholder processes, and strengthen civic space. Drawing on her background in both community-based and institutional settings, she develops approaches that help partners navigate complexity and build sustainable impact across diverse contexts.
