Project title

A Changing Climate in the Financial World: resolving the carbon bubble

Short biography

Tobias Sommer studied international affairs at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston and at the Freie Universität Berlin. He obtained his first professional experience as trainee and advisor at the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC). After graduating, he worked as a policy analyst on sustainable transport, energy and climate policy at the ‘swisscleantech’ association. As a Mercator Fellow, he will focus on the mitigation of climate change risks in financial markets and opportunities for green finance.
