Tobias März studied electrical engineering in Erlangen and Seville and most recently worked in the area of solar research at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). During his fellowship year, he will explore the question of how solar energy projects need to be promoted in order to achieve a breakthrough particularly in newly industrialising countries. He will be focusing especially on the MENA region, where the most promoted projects in the area of concentrated solar power are currently to be found.
