He has previously written for the British Army Review and has contributed to panels on drone warfare and defence diplomacy. He has provided comment to Italian newspaper La Stampa on counter-drone cooperation in Europe.
He commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as a reservist in 2018 and as a regular in 2023. He deployed to Kosovo in 2022, and will deploy to Estonia as part of NATO’s Forward Land Forces (FLF) in 2026. He holds an MSc in History of International Relations from the LSE and a BA in History and Politics from the University of Nottingham. In 2021, he walked solo from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean (Kocaeli – Antalya), before publishing a book detailing his trip, Thirty Degrees East.
