Silvia Danielak from Düsseldorf studied European Studies in Maastricht as well as Secutity and Conflict Studies at Sciences Po in Paris, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the Havard Kennedy School. During her studies she gained initial working experience at the Council of Europe, the EU Commission delegation in Kiev and at an NGO in Moldova. During her Mercator year she focused on different mediation processes and the development of strategies for an efficient multi-track conflict management in the South Caucasus and Central Asia. Since 2013 Silvia Danielak works in the Border Monitoring Program of the GIZ in Addis Abeba.
