During her fellowship year, Selina Pfister examines innovative pathways for the admission of refugees to third countries. She explores how such refugee protection schemes can make better use of the potential of refugees and receiving societies. Selina gained professional experience in the International Organization for Migration in Bern, and in different NPOs working as a legal advisor for asylum seekers and migrants and as an external observer in asylum interviews. Furthermore, she worked for the Permanent Mission of Liechtenstein in the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. Selina obtained a BA in International Relations in Geneva and Alicante and a MA in International Migration and Human Rights Law in Brussels.
