Özlem Ece works as the Director of Cultural Policy Studies at the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) and as a lecturer in cultural management in Istanbul, Turkey. Özlem graduated from Marmara University, Istanbul in 2001 with a degree in Public Administration. She received her master’s degree in Cultural Projects Management from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Grenoble, France in 2003. After completing her extended internship at AFAA (Institut Français) in Paris, she returned to her home city, Istanbul, and worked as a Project Manager and Communications Consultant for several private organizations. At İKSV, she continues her career in cultural policy and management and co-conducts researches for publications. Since May 2017, she is an Advisory Board Member of the Open Society Foundation in Turkey.
