The Berlin based cellist, composer, and director Nora Krahl is internationally known in the world of contemporary music and she has performed throughout Europe, Middle East, Asia, and the USA. Her special interest lies in collaborations with visual arts, performance, theater, dance, and literature. In her projects she seeks new ways of combining material from various sources and integrates political contexts into music performance. Nora was awarded numerous scholarships and artist residencies in New York City, California, Basel and Istanbul. She holds a strong connection to Istanbul and is conducting international collaborations where she brings artists from different backgrounds together. Nora Krahl graduated from Essen University of the Arts.
