Marion Sendker is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Marion Sendker is a law graduate and journalist based in Cologne and Istanbul. She is specialized on International and Comparative Law and is beyond that interested in Media Law. Having studied in Münster, Rome, Stellenbosch and Cologne she is currently preparing for a PhD on the compatibility of International Law with the Turkish Constitution.
In Germany, she works most of the time as a journalist for WDR and Deutschlandfunk and writes for various magazines. She also participates in a digital-education-program for schools that is featured by KAS, where she gives lectures in media law. In Turkey, Marion works as a part-time-correspondent for ARD radio and Welt TV.
