During his fellowship year, Marian Liesenfeld explores the potential of tourism as a driver of sustainable development. Previously, he gained professional experience as an advisor for tourism and social policy in the German parliament, as a campaign manager for Bundestag elections and as an intern in the Beijing office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation. Marian studied Political Science with a focus on International Relations at Free University of Berlin, Maastricht University and Sciences Po Lyon.
