Manuel Kilian is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.
Manuel Kilian is a Senior Manager to the President at BDI, the Federation of German Industries. His previous positions – at the United Nations Environmental Programme in Paris, Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and the German Development Service in Nicaragua – strengthened his interest in the nexus of politics and economics. Manuel contributes actively to various platforms that enhance the bilateral ties in Europe, such as the German-British Young Königswinter Conferences or the recently founded German-French Cluny Forum. He holds a B.A. in European Studies from Maastricht University and Sciences Po Paris and a M.A. from Cambridge University.
