Diagnosis: Climate Change – How climate change impacts health

Short biography

During her fellowship, Leonie Dudda examines the effects of climate change on health, such as water crises leading to infectious diseases and food insecurity. Leonie graduated from medical school at the University of Heidelberg and spent semesters abroad in Spain at the Universidad de Cantabria and Universidad Miguel Hernández. She gained professional experience in public hospitals in Germany, Spain, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Sri Lanka, and South Africa. With a special focus on health issues, she then obtained a MSc in International Development & Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
