Lars Döbert

Lars Döbert received his Master’s degree in International Relations from the joint program between Freie University Berlin, Humboldt University Berlin, Potsdam University and King’s College in London. He also studied European Studies at the Universities of Passau, Brasília and Tel Aviv. He gained professional experience at the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and for the UN department at the German Federal Foreign Office. During the Mercator Fellowship, he seeks to examine approaches to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of UN policing in the context of limited statehood and violent non-state actors.
