Kübra Kalkandelen is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Kübra Kalkandelen is founder and owner of Mind the Life in the UK, where she provides support and consultancy services for civil society projects. Kubra leads research on contemporary societal paradigms and is also responsible for campaigning and fundraising activities. She carries on project management, team organisation and training courses mainly in the UK, Europe, Turkey and Western Balkans to reform organisational frameworks on a solid foundation of understanding environmental behaviour, and human rights. Between 2014-2016, she has been awarded with the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Scheme to complete her Master in Human Rights Policy and Practice at Roehampton University (UK), Goteborgs Universitet (Sweden) and Universitetet I Tromsø (Norway). Kübra examined the effects of human-caused environmental degradation on human life and the concept of ecocide, through a human rights lens.
