Short biography

Juliane Sarnes studied sociology, economics, law and organisational psychology in Munich and Paris and then completed a double MPA (Master of Public Administration) at the London School of Economics and the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin. In her Mercator project, she will focus on public debt as the consequence of dysfunctional fiscal policy frameworks and on strategies to discharge and prevent growing public debt in the future.
