Project title

Education in emergencies: access to education in humanitarian response mechanisms

Short biography

Janosch Klemm studied philosophy, literature and international economics at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, King’s College London, and the Universities of Warwick and Münster. He gained professional experience working for a consultancy on sustainability strategy, a start-up in Berlin and the Arbeitsstelle für literarische Museen (Department for Literary Museums) in Marbach. Most recently, Janosch worked for the United Nations World Food Programme in El Salvador, Pakistan and Rome. As a Mercator Fellow, he will focus on access to education in emergency situations and approaches to facilitation through response mechanisms.
