In the course of the project "Turkey in the International System" Ioannis N. Grigoriadis’ research deals with the Cyprus issue and the matter of the peaceful settlement.
Ioannis Grigoriadis has been a senior fellow in the EU/Europe research group within the framework of the IPC-Stiftung Mercator Fellowship at the SWP since September 2016. Previously he was an associate professor at Bilkent University in Ankara and an adjunct lecturer at the University of Athens. He worked as a research fellow at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy and obtained a PhD in political science at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London. He completed his master’s in international relations at Columbia University in New York in 2002.
