As a Mercator Fellow, Gabriel Pelloquin looks into sustainable development cooperation with the People’s Republic of China. His main interest lies in China’s increasing activity in development politics, it’s implications for the respective countries and their relationship to European institutions as well as the feasibility of sustainable trilateral cooperation. Gabriel studied Philosophy and History in Freiburg, Montpellier and Heidelberg. He gained professional experience as an assistant teacher in the support and integration of children with special needs and in the editorial office of a journal for contemporary literature.
