Frederick Brütting is the mayor of the city of Heubach in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. After eight years in office, he got re-elected in October 2019. He is a member of the Kreistag Ostalbkreis and is floor leader of the Social Democrats in the Regionalverband Ostwürttemberg. As CEO, he represents the Städtische Wohnbau GmbH (housing), and acts as deputy chairman of the supervisory board of the Gesellschaft für Energieversorgung Ostalb mbH (power supply). From 2016-2018 he was elected deputy chairman of the social democratic party of Germany in Baden-Württemberg and has been chairman of their youth organization (Jusos) from 2009-2012. Frederick Brütting is very much interested in the new role of cities in a globalised world and has given several speeches on this topic. He is married to Yeliz Ayvaz-Brütting and together they have one son.
