Franziska Fislage is Head of Governmental Affairs at Axel Springer SE. In this function, she is responsible for Axel Springer’s German public affairs activities. Previously, she was Senior Manager Public Affairs at Axel Springer.
Before joining Axel Springer, Franziska worked as a consultant for international party dialog and as a political advisor in the Analysis and Consulting Department of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). During her time at KAS, she worked as an author and editor of various publications and studies on topics such as populism, political parties and political movements, party cooperation, political systems and party systems in Germany and Europe, international relations, and questions of democracy. Franziska studied economic and social history, sociology and political science in Göttingen, Bonn and Istanbul.
