Short biography

Florian Schatz studied Political Sciences with Economics as a subsidiary subject at the Free University of Berlin and Sciences Po Paris. Following his year as a Fulbright Student at the Columbia University in New York he worked for one year in the field of development cooperation in Uganda, at first for UNDP and later for the GIZ. Following his Master of Science in Development Management at the London School of Economics, as a Mercator Fellow, he focused on governance and the development of accountable institutions in developing countries at the World Bank and UNDP, among others. After returning from Colombia, Florian Schatz now works at the British non-profit consultancy ITAD in Brighton.
