Project title

The proposal of a UN Parliament: Does it make sense – for Germany, Europe, and the world?

Short biography

Farsan Ghassim received a BSc in Management from the London School of Economics (LSE) and an MA in Global Affairs from Yale University. Farsan was a management consultant at Bain & Company and worked at the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations, among others, in the Security Council and the General Assembly. His Mercator Fellowship project focuses on the proposal of a democratically elected world parliament. Farsan intends to explore if this global campaign is worth supporting from the perspectives of Germany, Europe, and the world.
