Emre Tunçalp is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Emre Tunçalp is a London-based senior associate at the global risk consultancy Stroz Friedberg, where he advises investors on country-specific political, security, regulatory, and reputational risks in emerging markets. Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg, Emre worked at a Washington, DC-based risk advisory firm. A committed transatlanticist, Emre was part of the Emerging Leaders Working Group established by NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and is a member of the Atlantic Council and Ecologic Institute’s Emerging Leaders in Energy and Environmental Policy (ELEEP) Network. Emre is a frequent public commentator on emerging markets, and the energy industry; and made television and print appearances on different media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters, Foreign Policy, and Bloomberg. Emre holds an MA in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC, and a BA in Political and Social Sciences from Sabanci University in Istanbul.
