Ellen Demuth is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Ellen Demuth is a Member of the State Parliament in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. When she first got directly elected for her residential district at the state elections in 2011, she was one of the youngest members of parliament and the youngest member of her parliamentary group, the Christ Democratic Union (CDU). After her reelection in 2016, Ellen became Chairwoman for the committee of enquiry for tourism development . Additionally, she is a member of the committee for media and internet politics, as well as the committee for integration, society matters and consumer protection. Ellen represents her party in the data protection committee and is elected member of the city council of her home town Linz and of the county council of her region Neuwied, where she acts as the vice chairwoman of her parliamentary group.
