During his Mercator Fellowship year, David Maleki will be examining ways of involving newly industrialising countries more heavily in international climate protection efforts. He previously worked as a junior consultant for the GTZ in Eschborn. Mr Maleki graduated from the London School of Economics with a master’s degree in international relations and from the University of Constance and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with a bachelor’s degree in political and administrative science. He has acquired practical experience in governmental and civil society organisations in Africa, the Caribbean and Europe.
