As a Mercator Fellow, Corinne Duriaux works on the use of cash transfers in humanitarian contexts and focuses on their impacts on educational and health outcomes. Working as a project officer at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis, Corinne already dealt with the use of cash transfers for HIV prevention and wrote her master thesis on this topic. Previously, she gained professional experience at McKinsey & Company, the Swiss Red Cross and the Swiss Embassy in Manila. She holds a master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris and a Master in International Affairs and Governance from the University of St. Gallen.
