Dahrendorf senior fellows advise the symposium speakers and participants, mentor the postdoctoral fellows individually or as a group, and serve as a point of contact for project managers. They also promote the project’s science-policy interface.
Claudia Kemfert has been a professor of energy economics and sustainability at the Hertie School of Governance since 2009 and head of the Department of Energy, Transportation and Environment at DIW Berlin since April 2004. Her research activities concentrate on the evaluation of climate and energy policy strategies. Claudia advised EU Commission President Barroso in a High Level Group on Energy and Climate. She has received several awards for her research.
