Participatory big data for sustainable agriculture

Short biography

Benjamin Gräub’s professional career has been marked by his quest for more sustainable agriculture. He first worked with the Swiss Biovision Foundation, advocating for sustainable agriculture on the international level (Rio+20). Then he honed his technical skills and gained field experience with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). As a Mercator Fellow, he will focus on how to include big data in innovative business models in order to contribute to sustainable agriculture. He studied international affairs & governance and international management in St.Gallen, Medellín and Barcelona.
