Project description

Arda Akçiçek is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.



Short biography

Arda Akçiçek is the Chief of Staff to the Office of the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of TBMM and researcher of the Migration Research Association (GAV). Apart from that, he has also been engaged in an NGO since 2009. Prior to that, Arda has held several positions during his 10-years professional career including Program Coordinator at the Association for Liberal Thinking, Research Assistant at the Hacettepe University and Researcher in the Migration and Policy Research Center of the Hacettepe University. Furthermore, he worked as Assistant Editor of the Liberal Düşünce and Advisor to the Minister for EU Affairs of Turkey. Arda holds a B.A, M.A and a PhD degree in
political science.
