Anna Maria Katharina Jandrey is part of a network of young Turkish and European leaders from all sectors who come together once a year to engage in intensive dialogue and to share views and ideas about topical social issues. The Turkey Europe Future Forum takes place alternately in Turkey and Germany, as well as in other European countries.

Short biography

Anna Jandrey currently works at the headquarters of the Christian Democratic Union. Being member of the „Policy Planning“-team, she focuses on strategic questions related to foreign and security policy as well as international relations. She assists in the preparation of meetings with international politicians and experts for the party’s leadership. Prior to working for the CDU, she was desk officer in the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in Berlin. From 2015 to 2017, Anna Jandrey was deputy director of the foundation’s office in Israel. During her time in Jerusalem, she analyzed developments in the Middle East ranging from security policy to changing social, cultural and demographic vitality. She holds a Master’s degree in North American Studies from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn. Her general research interests include European foreign policy, migration, terrorism, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
