Dr. Agata Kleczkowska is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Public International Law of the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include but are not limited to the threat and use of force, hybrid threats, statehood, recognition, and retorsions. In 2018, she continued her research on armed non-state actors with the Fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law. Since 2018, she has been a member of the legal expert pool of the European Centre of Excellence for Countering Hybrid Threats. Among other functions, she is also a Managing Editor of the Contemporary Central & East European Law journal, a Co-Editor of the Digest of State Practice of the Journal on the Use of Force and International Law, and a member of the NATO STO Research Task Group on The Ethical and Legal Challenges of Cognitive Warfare.
