Marion-Gräfin-Dönhoff Bursary
The Marion Gräfin Dönhoff Fellowship, which was established in 2002, provides young German and Eastern European journalists with the opportunity to spend time in the partner country.

Federal President Johannes Rau Bursary
The Federal President Johannes Rau Fellowship was initiated in 2006 and promotes exchange between German and Turkish media.

German-Vietnamese Fellowship
Since 2008 Stiftung Mercator offers young German and Vietnamese journalists the opportunity to work at editorial offices in the partner country. The Vietnam programme is integrated in the IJP's German-Asian Journalist Programme.
